What is the difference between Laptop/Notebook Memory and PC Memory? How do I distinguis between them? - laptop notebook memory
Memory & Storage
The memory of a laptop in May offset some of the decline in performance that comes from a slower processor. Some laptops have cache memory on or very close to the CPU, the faster access to data. Some also have large buses that can transfer data between the processor, motherboard and memory to move faster.
Laptops often smaller memory modules to save space. Types of memory are used in portable computers:
* Small Outline Dual Inline Memory Module (DIMM)
* Double Data Rate Synchronous RAM (DDR SDRAM)
* Data from a kind of synchronous RAM (SDRAM)
* Memory modules of real estate
Some phones are equipped with expandable memory and removable panels for easy access to memory modules.
As a desktop laptop has an internal hard drive that the operating system, applications and store data files. But laptops generally have less memory than desktops. A portable hard drive is also physically smaller than a desktop. In addition, most laptop hard drives spin slower than desktop hard drives, which reducesIng heat and power consumption.
Desktops have several bays for the installation of additional devices such as CD-and DVD-ROM. However, space in a laptop is delivering a much shorter period. Many laptops a modular design, can a large number of units in the same bay fit. These units are available in three different names:

The shape, the laptop / notebook memory is much smaller.
The PC's memory is a little less high but wider!
The memory of the PC is about 5 inches long and one centimeter wide (and fits perfectly into the slot of memory) and memory-cell is about 2-3 inches long, and maybe a few inches less in width. (Report of the PC does not appear to fit a laptop)
