Why did you send loads quickly, and then a reminder nearer the date !?!?!

Or you can always call the parents and ask what is the plan, perhaps suggesting that the parties together?

Is it really such a big deal?

Yes, absolutely. I think people want to go for both sides, so you do not want them to be on the same day ... So if you can not recover your money from a warning to all first and mother, and she did not know, but part of his son on the same day it is.

Why do you send a backup copy of the appointment instead of an invitation? Since you paid before requesting RSVP to be sure, wait and instead competative Why do not you mom and plan a party together.
Since you have already set the date, it is too late to call and ask what day they come with the plans, clumsy and childish. You simply send the invitations and invite God's love to another classmate.
